Well, 2007 is here, and there's been plenty of changes in the first weeks of the new year. For those of you that didn't know, just before Christmas I moved to Richmond to live with April after two and a half years. She's happy about it, I'm happy about it, and really, it's been pretty good so far. While I found out this week that I didn't get into graduate school, I did learn that I have options I can pursue to still get in, so I'm down, but not out.
In other news, I am unemployed. This comes as a result of moving to Richmond without having anything lined up. On the good side, I'm pretty sure I'll have a job waiting tables by next week, the bad news is, without grad schoo, I won't be able to become a teacher just yet. Because of this, I'm starting to explore other careers that will allow me to either use my degree or any degree, because I can't be a server/bartender for too much longer.
So, 2007 is here, so long to 2006! I'm happily living in Richmond and I expect plenty of people to come and visit me here and keep in touch.
