Well, the opening of Cheeseburger in Paradise has come and gone, and I for one am exhausted. Between a solid week of training, learning 60 odd new drinks, and studying for finals in the midst of all that, I am bushed.
Opening night was insane. The store did over 20 grand...10 of that was from the bar. The liquor mix, 51%, is kinda illegal if we do it all year. With 6 bartenders, I still walked with over 200 bucks...crazy. But, I do have the next two days off before I have to work on what will probably be the craziest Friday bar shift I've ever worked. Can't wait.
In other life news, April's birthday has come and gone, and while it didn't go as we would have liked, we did get to see each other on her birthday, so her "birthday curse" has been broken, which really only leaves the Cubs to break theirs. C'mon guys, get it together.
So yeah, that's been the last 3 weeks of my life, and tomorrow I'll be done with the whole school thing and can get down to writing, working, and seeing my sweetness. Should be a good summer.
